Side projects are my learning labs outside 9-5. I design fun stuff and explore new tools. This portfolio is just another side quest where Figma, Framer and Claude collide. When not designing, I'm at the gym, dancing hip-hop or on my yoga mat. (Hit me up for the yoga playlist!) Love meeting people, checking out events and trying new spots and activities.

Along the way, I built Figmini - an Apple Watch app that solved a problem with prototyping Figma designs on watches. That project won a buildspace grant, putting me in the top 20 out of 70k people. That's when I realized…

Great things happen when you just keep building and trying new stuff.

Started from scratch here, in Toronto. Got into design systems work during my internships at RBC (2023) and theScore (2024). When theScore offered me a full-time role as a product design generalist, it felt like the perfect next step.

About six weeks later, I saw friends applying to study abroad and thought "maybe I should try too?" Applied to University of Toronto for exchange. Never made such a big decision before - I mean, I'd always lived with my family. Somehow got accepted, and a month later I was in Canada.

Then February 2022 changed everything. When the full-scale war started, I kept designing - making designs for Ukrainian media to spread awareness. Racing against time, I once mixed up the Slovenian and Slovak flags in a post that hit 100,000 people on Instagram. Pretty embarrassing as a designer, right? But it helped bring attention to what was happening, and that's what mattered.

In 2021 I landed my first design job at a small studio while still in university. Working on fintech, healthcare, and e-commerce projects between classes was exhausting but very fun - this wasn't just coursework anymore, this was building things people would actually use. Walking into that office felt like 'this is it.'

I started learning design in Ukraine, making super detailed notes about layout and typography and geeking out over Figma prototypes. Design just clicked for me - I'd spend hours making fake websites just to see those click transitions work.

I'm a product designer mixing play with purpose. I create experiences that feel smooth and delightful. While being obsessed with motion and interaction, I'm always chasing the meaning – what impact can my work have on people's lives?
